Chase Briscoe Career
Chase Briscoe is a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he drives the No. 14 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing. He also participates part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 22 Ford F-150 for AM Racing. Additionally, Briscoe is the owner of a World of Outlaws sprint car racing team called Chase Briscoe Racing. In 2016, he achieved victory by winning the ARCA Racing Series championship.
However, in the 2023 season, his performance started with a disappointing 35th place and a Did Not Finish (DNF) at the 2023 Daytona 500. Furthermore, NASCAR imposed an L3 penalty on the No. 14 car following the 2023 Coca-Cola 600 race due to the discovery of a counterfeit engine panel NACA duct during a post-race inspection. Consequently, Briscoe’s team incurred a penalty of 125 owner and driver points, as well as 25 playoff points. Additionally, his crew chief, Johnny Klausmeier, received a suspension for six races and a fine of US$250,000.
At first, Chase Briscoe’s father, Kevin, didn’t permit him to pursue a racing career. However, he eventually had a change of heart and allowed Chase to take up racing as a means of bonding and spending quality time together as a family. Five years later, at the age of 13, Chase Briscoe made his return to racing, specifically in 410 sprint cars. In that same year, he achieved an impressive record, securing 17 top-ten finishes and even clinching a victory at the season’s final race. Notably, he made history by becoming the youngest driver to win a 410 sprint car race, surpassing NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon’s record by one year, despite racing with a 1993 engine.
Briscoe’s racing career is defined by his unwavering determination, tireless effort, and a steadfast dedication to achieving excellence. His path, which began on local dirt tracks, is a quintessential tale of a skilled racer ascending the ranks through their innate talent and unrelenting commitment. With a bright future ahead and strong support from Stewart-Haas Racing, Chase Briscoe is anticipated to remain a prominent figure in the world of NASCAR for the foreseeable future.
