Former WWE star Christian decided to name Brock Lesnar as his pick for the upcoming 2020 Royal Rumble.
The Beast will enter the Rumble as the first entrant, which has been hyped by Paul Heyman in recent weeks and is the WWE Champion too.
Lesnar is aiming to win the Rumble by outlasting 29 other men, and it opens up several possibilities for The Beast.
Winning the Rumble leads to a title shot for any of the two major singles belts at WrestleMania. However, Lesnar winning could see him not have a challenger at the show-piece event in April or he could go for the Universal title currently with The Fiend Bray Wyatt.
Christian was the third member of the Backstage crew to share his thoughts and named The Beast:
“I’m not sure how popular this pick is going to be, but I’m going to say, Brock Lesnar.
“He puts himself as No.1, says he’s gonna run the gauntlet, I want him to back it up, I want to see him do it.”
The former WWE star also wanted to see what was on The Beast’s mind for WrestleMania:
“I want to see what he’s going to do if he wins. Is he going to take the night off? Is he going to go after The Fiend or Daniel Bryan? I’m interested in seeing what he wants to do.”
Ideally, Lesnar’s title should have been on the line at the upcoming Royal Rumble.
However, The Beast is still to find out if he will defend the title at the PPV. The Fiend will be in action as Daniel Bryan tries to win the Universal title.
