Heidi Northcott was born on the 15th of July, 1980 in California. Not much is known about Northcott’s parents.

She studied Management Information and Natural Science at the University of Southern California after graduating from Marina High School in 1997.

Chuck Liddell was born on the 17th of December, 1969 in Santa Barbara, California. He was raised by his mother and maternal grandfather. Liddell has three siblings – Dan Liddell, Sean Liddell, and Laurelai Liddell.

It was his maternal grandfather who taught Liddell boxing techniques right from his childhood.

Liddell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Acounting from the California Polytechnic State University.

Heidi Northcott’s husband Chuck Liddell

Heidi Northcott and her husband Chuck Liddell first met at a party in 2009 through a mutual friend.

In a years’ time on the 4th of November, 2010, Liddell proposed which eventually led to their marriage.

Liddell was considered to be one of the best fighters of his generation. He made his MMA debut when he was 29 years old at UFC 17, and won his first fight via. unanimous decision.

He quickly rose through the ranks to become a serious threat in the in the light-heavyweight division.

Who could forget his intense rivalry with another UFC great Randy Couture?

At UFC 52 in April 2005, Liddell won the UFC light-heavyweight championship after beating Couture in a rematch.

He went on to defend it four times before being knocked out by Rampage Jackson at UFC 71.

Since then, Liddell won just one fight -against Wanderlei Silva. He retired from the sport in 2010, and made a one-fight comeback in 2018, against Tito Ortiz – another trilogy fight.

Liddell was knocked out by Ortiz in the very first round.

It is worth noting that Liddell was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2009.

Heidi Northcott and Chuck Liddell have two children. Their first child, a daughter named Guinevere Liddell was born in 2011.

2 years later, Northcott gave birth to a son. The couple named him Charles David Liddell Jr.

Liddell has three other children from previous relationships – Cade Liddell, Trista Liddell and Brendan Liddell.

Chuck Liddell Arrest

On the 11th of October, Liddell was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department and charged with domestic battery. He was later released on a $20,000 bond.

Following his release Liddell stated that it was he who was the victim of abuse, and not his wife Northcott.

Liddell’s statement on Instagram read:

“I was the victim of the incident last night at our family home, as details of the case will reveal. The deputies informed me that my wife would be arrested. As I did not respond to her assault while I sustained bruising and lacerations. I volunteered to go in her place.”

He also revealed that he might be calling it quits with Northcott:

“This was one of the many times I have tried to shield a family mental healthy issue from the public purview. It has become painfully apparent that this cannot continue, as our private life has no reached a public breaking point. Please respect our privacy as I help to navigate our family through this difficult time.”
