Last year’s first season of Chucky was one of the greatest surprises. While widely perceived as a cash grab from Hollywood, the show managed to capture what made Child’s Play great in an unparalleled way.

Season 1 featured an all-teen cast, who tackled issues like bullying, sexuality, and adolescent life in ways that resonated with viewers. Season 2 promises to be even wilder which is all set to release on October 5, 2022!

October 5th

After his attempt at infiltrating America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky pledged revenge on those responsible. This includes Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Though these three are now attending Catholic reformatory school Incarnate Lord for reformation purposes, that won’t stop Chucky from terrorizing them at every turn.

This latest trailer gives us our first look at Glen and Glenda as they make their return in future episodes. They won’t be alone though: Season two also brings back Zackary Arthur (Jake Wheeler), Bjorgvin Arnarson (Devon Evans) and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Lexy Cross). Recurring guests include Gina Gershon (Psycho 2, Body Snatchers), Joe Pantoliano (Memento) and Tony Nappo (Saw II), plus Sutton Stracke who plays Reginald Andres!

On USA and Syfy

The first season of Chucky premiered on Syfy and USA in October 2021 to rave reviews, drawing raves from horror fans for its campiness, dark humor, inclusivity of LGBTQ+ individuals as well as inclusion of both. Based off of Child’s Play films with Brad Dourif as Chucky being played by Don Mancini (mastermind behind original franchise).
