Citadel has already been renewed for a second season by Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke, following on its success of the first. Citadel featured Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden and Game of Thrones actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas alongside Leslie Manville and Stanley Tucci.
Salke has expressed an interest in creating a larger franchise for her series, possibly including spin-offs and adaptations across different countries and languages.
