Angela Hill lost to Michelle Waterson in controversial fashion and Claudia Gadelha couldn’t help but take a shot at her rival
Angela Hill had a lot going for her ahead of the main event against Michelle Waterson in the latest UFC Fight Night event.
Hill became the first black woman to headline a UFC event, and she looked good for the win. It was a close battle against Waterson and many believed that after five brilliant rounds, Hill had got the win.
However, Waterson was handed the win via split decision and that didn’t go well with Hill.

The UFC star was obviously upset at all this and many outlets and reporters backed that she had done enough to beat the Karate Hottie, as Waterson is known.
Waterson spent a lot of time celebrating the win but it also saw one of Hill’s rivals take a shot at her.
Gadelha goes for the TKO
Claudia Gadelha was Hill’s previous opponent and the Brazilian had something to say about this result too.
Gadelha had beaten Hill in their meeting and this was a controversial result too. Most media outlets had suggested that Hill got that win too, and the UFC star voiced her displeasure back then.
The 31-year-old Gadelha got a chance to take a shot at her rival and didn’t miss:
Hill is going to cry until 2035 now!!
😂
Good job @karatehottiemma !!#ufcvegas10— Claudia Gadelha (@ClaudiaGadelha_) September 13, 2020
The Brazilian even congratulated the Karate Hottie for the win and it will be interesting to see what is next for her.
Hill would be upset at this result, and the UFC does have a problem regarding the way the fights are scored.
There were other controversies in this UFC card too. Ed Herman submitted Mike Rodriguez with a kimura but Herman had gone down in the second round after a couple of knees to the body.
While Rodriguez believed he won the fight, Herman actually got five minutes to recover since it was deemed to be a low blow from his rival.
Herman, later on, suggested that he didn’t know where he was hit, and this was another bad call by the referee.
