How to Change Clothes in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, trainers can’t switch their outfits right away. First, you have to play through the story, get your starter Pokemon, and battle Nemona. After that, you can change your clothes anytime by pressing left on the D-pad.

You get a menu where you can pick new shirts, socks, shoes, gloves, backpacks, hats, glasses, and phone cases. But, if you’re wearing a school uniform, you can only change between Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter styles in the main game. Each style has its own look, but you can’t customize more than that.

If you buy The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion, you get extra outfits like new Academy uniforms, Festival Jinbei, and a tracksuit. It’s not a ton, but the DLC gives you more choices to dress up your character.
