The 2020 F1 season is almost here and there are teams with new liveries and some drivers looking to make a name for themselves.
Mercedes won all the titles last year with Lewis Hamilton picking up his sixth crown, and the Silver Arrows will be looking to break a few records too.
Red Bull and Ferrari are the two closest competitors for the German giants. However, it will be interesting to see if any of the other teams make a bid for the top three.
There are some fresh faces to in some teams while a rising star gets a seat back in F1.
1) Mercedes
Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas
Hamilton was in his own league last year and will be looking to win a record seventh F1 title. However, Bottas was his closest competitor and it will be interesting to see if the Finn makes a fight for the world title.
2) Ferrari
Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel
Charles Leclerc blew a little hot and cold last season but with a good car, he could battle Hamilton.
Vettel has had his problems on the track and the German just needs to perform consistently.
3) Red Bull
Max Verstappen and Alex Albon
Honda-powered Red Bull have a tough job of closing the gap on the top two. They have two excellent racers in Alex Albon and Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman, Verstappen, could challenge for the title too but he needs a good car and an engine.
4) McLaren
Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris
Last season was decent for the British outfit as they finished the best of the rest. It will be interesting to see how they have grown this season, especially with two hotshots in Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.
5) Scuderia AlphaTauri
Pierre Gasly and Daniel Kvyat
Toro Rosso was rebranded as the new team AlphaTauri and they could battle McLaren for the best of the rest tag.
Pierre Gasly came back to this team in the second half of the previous season while Daniil Kvyat is an experienced campaigner.
6) Racing Point
Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez
A lot has been said Racing Point using the 2019 Mercedes as inspiration for their 2020 car, however, they have been good in pre-season testing.
Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll need a consistent performing car, and all things look good for the Racing Point team.
7) Renault
Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon
Daniel Ricciardo struggled in several races for Renault last season, and the Australian would want to fix that in 2020.
He will be joined by former Racing Point racer Esteban Ocon, who replaces the now out of F1 Nico Hulkenberg.
8) Alfa Romeo
Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi
Alfa Romeo didn’t perform at their best always, but they had a go in some races.
Kimi Raikkonen is still an experienced campaigner while Antonio Giovinazzi has to step up and perform consistently.
9) Haas
Kevin Magnussen and Roman Grosjean
The Haas team really struggled in the previous season with the drivers often taking each other out.
Surprisingly, both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen still have a seat, and it will be interesting to see how they do this season.
10) Williams
Nicholas Latifi and George Russell
Williams had a poor car last season and it will be interesting to see how things develop with them this time around.
George Russell impressed in a poor car and sees Robert Kubica replaced by Nicholas Latifi in 2020.
