The fan favourite Contra game has returned for android and ios devices with more characters and here is a tier list of all the characters in Contra Returns.
In Contra Returns, players can enjoy the classic side-scrolling gameplay, two-person teams, alien bosses, and the original soundtrack from the first game. It is a modern revamp of the classic game. It has loads of shooting and explosions with some contemporary twists.
Contra Returns Character tier list
Contra Returns has promised to add more characters to the game. So this list will change drastically. This is the tier list for all the current characters.
S tier
- Alice
Alice joined the forces to fight the aliens and avenge her dead parents. After two years of training she achieved physical strength far superior to that of an ordinary person. She is a second lieutenant in the forces
- Lance Bean
Lance is Bill’s best friend and also the master of weaponry in Contra.
He has extraordinary knowledge about weapons and can build his own weapons from scratch. Lance is a legendary fighter and an elite soldier.
- Ray Poward
He is the leader of a mischievous group born in the slums. He joined the Hard Corps with his fighting talent and a keen sense of smell.
- Code 018
018 was one of the legendary 20 Weapon’s Servants from an eastern country. She has no name but the number “018” on her heavy sword. Her duty was to protect her tribe and defend the League of the Ten East Countries.
A tier
- Aurora
Aurora is a human in the Contra Returns universe. Not much information is known about her.
- Rona
Rona is a pink haired fighter in Contra Returns. We will learn more about her back story as the game releases more content.
- Browny
Browny is a fully functioning robot. He has red glowing eyes.
- Jean
Jean is a beautiful Chinese-Japanese teenager who knows about love. She is prepared to fight off aliens and protect her entire family.
- Senbei Yagyu
Senbei began to learn the art of swords since he was three and demonstrated his gifted talent. He becomes well known when he is seven years old as he defeats twenty-one adult samurai warriors from an elite force.
- SnowBear
Snow Bear was originally an ordinary polar bear raised up in a laboratory. He was injected with chemicals that enhanced and altered his body.
- Feng
He was the only survivor during the massacre and was rescued by Lance Bean, who arrived after the calamity. He later became Lance’s sidekick
- Lucia Zero
Not much is known about Lucia zero
- Bill
Bill Rizer, our legendary hero — is Contra’s strongest fighter
- Hummingbird
She is a ninja girl of the fifty-first generation. Her former name is unknown.
B tier
- Catelyn
She formally joined the Marine Corps under Lance’s reference. Catelyn left the Marine when she was 20-years-old to be free to do anything she wants to do. She then became a bounty hunter.
- Sheena
Sheena is a cute and adorable “loli” character — But cruel when she is very angry.
- Pulse William
Not much is known about Pulse William
