Raquel Gonzalez enjoyed her training session. Cora stated that she felt “extremely sore” after last week’s grueling training session, came back, and had it her way this time.
Cora took Raquel to Tree Trek Adventure Park. She said, “Yes, we’re gonna work on being fearless, taking risks, being ready to take on any challenge that the Dusty [Cup] brings us.”
Raquel was very reluctant as she seemed scared of heights but Cora persuaded her to go for it. Raquel finally admitted her fear but the effervescent Cora wouldn’t relent.
In the end, they started with Jade quenching her thirst for thrills and at the same time, Gonzalez struggled with the ropes and her fear of heights didn’t help.
They ended the day with zip lining and at the end of it all, the 31-year old thanked Cora as she helped her overcome the fear of heights.
The two talented superstars have embraced each other’s styles and helped each other overcome their fears. The segment ended up being quite hilarious as well as endearing. Fans loved the younger sister-elder sister camaraderie between the two superstars.
They look prepared for their Dusty Cup match beginning next week.
Io shirai and Kay Lee Ray overcame the challenge from Lash Legend and Amari Miller in a first round match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2022.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team classic got underway this week on NXT 2.0. Io Shirai and Kay Lee ray triumphed against a game Lash Legend and Amari Miller. Shirai hit the moonsault on Lash to score the pin.
In the other match of round one, Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeated Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley to advance to the next round. Ivy Nile attacked Paxley after the match as the latter took the pinfall defeat. Ivy used the Dragon Sleeper submission hold to choke the already hurt Paxley.
Next week the other two matches will take place as Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta take on Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai, while Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez face off against Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon.
The inaugural winners of Dusty Classic – Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai are in the tournament this time, but with different partners.
