Here are 10 things you should know from our Coral Island guide to understand the game better and have smooth gameplay.
In Coral Island, which is developed by Stairway Games, diversity and inclusivity are given equal priority. This sets it apart from other farming sim games. The game includes racial diversity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and a wide variety of tropical crops that are not commonly found in farming games.
In addition to exploring, diving, and cleaning pollutants from the titular Coral Island, the game will include a meeting with the local Merfolk kingdom and an eventual confrontation with the Pufferfish Drilling Corporation. You might be eager to play this game but before that, you should read our Coral Island guide because we have lots of things that you should know.
Coral Island Guide: Auto Sprint Feature
You can sprint in the game quicker by enabling the Auto-Sprint feature in Settings. This will allow you to move more quickly with less effort on your part. Sprinting is especially beneficial when you’re rushing.
Coral Island Guide: Talent mastery
A key aspect of how you play the game is your talent mastery. Each of your masteries will grant you vital buffs that make your farming life so much easier, depending on which part of the mastery you’re specializing in. You can, for instance, keep your soil watered the next day if you have the Keep Hydrated mastery.
Make some storage
There is no way to loot gadgets once they’re thrown into the bottom of Coral Island. That’s one factor that separates it from other farming sim games. In order to store the stuff you’re going to need for a while, you should construct a storage chest as quickly as possible. For making a Makeshift Chest, you will need 25 wooden and 10 trash. After that, just put it in the chosen location and fill it with your gadgets.
Watch your TV
Don’t forget to check your TV when you upgrade your home. Each channel contains valuable information. Using the Weather Channel is especially useful because it provides forecast information for the next day. If you want farming tips, you can also use the television.
Finish your Stamina at the end of the day
There’s no denying that stamina plays a key role in farming simulations, and Coral Island is no different. As your stamina replenishes each day, you can carry out a lot of actions on your farm. Because of this, it’s important to maximize your stamina. Don’t let it go to waste. Instead, use it to chop down wood, break rocks, pick up trash, and more.
Find other people
You can introduce yourself to anyone you see wandering around town if you have any time left on the first day. You will be able to develop relationships more quickly if you have characters in your notebook. Additionally, it’s a better way to spend time on your first day, when you are likely out of your energy.
Don’t sell these materials
If you want to make money, then selling a few important materials in the bin is a very bad idea. It’s a waste of time and money. These materials include wood, stone, trash, sap, coal, scrap, and more. These materials are much more valuable when used for crafting.
Timings of the stores
There are different opening and closing times for stores in Coral Island. Signs outside the shops indicate whether the shop is open or closed. Not only that, but you can also use the sign to learn when the store will open or close. It will even let you know on which specific day it isn’t open.
You can grow your crops quickly
Make sure there is no debris or materials in the area. Then, plant your crops and water them immediately. This will ensure that your crops soon begin to grow and you can begin to earn money sooner.
You can do fishing
As long as you’re standing right next to a body of water, you can fish whenever and wherever you like. You don’t need to search for bubbles in the water or anything related. Just cast your line, wait for the fish to chunk it, and reel it in. Unlike other games with complicated fishing mechanics, Coral Island offers it in its simplest form.
So this was everything you needed to know from our Coral Island guide. Once you have learned all these things, then you can have a better gaming experience.
