3rd seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas will face 6th seed Federico Coria in the semifinals of the 2023 Cordoba Open on Saturday.

The Spanish star received a first-round bye and managed to defeat Dusan Lajovic in the round of 16. Ramos-Vinolas won the match 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.
In the quarterfinals, Ramos-Vinolas defeated fellow veteran Joao Sousa in three sets. The match ended 6-4, 2-6, 6-1, converting 6 out of 10 break points as the 35-year-old reached his 27th career ATP semifinal. He enjoys playing on clay and is one of the strong contenders to go the distance.
Federico Coria
The Argentine veteran had a riveting encounter against Thiago Monteiro in the round of 32 of the Cordoba Open. Coria managed to come back from a set down to defeat the Brazilian star 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 6-2. The next two matches that Coria won came when his opponents retired mid-match. The 30-year-old Coria went on to face Marco Cecchinato in the round of 16. Coria was all over Cecchinato as he won the first set 6-3 and was leading the second set 3-1 when the Italian athlete was forced to retire.
In the quarterfinals, Coria took on compatriot and 2nd seed Francisco Cerundolo. Coria led 6-3, 3-0 when Cerundolo pulled out owing to a hamstring injury on the right leg.
