Abby Ajayi’s lavish family drama Riches, available both to UK audiences on ITVX and international viewers via Prime Video, culminates in several big twists that set up potential future installments of this storyline. One such twist involves Claudia Richards’s (Sarah Niles) paternity being revealed, potentially creating much friction within this volatile family drama.
Wayne Malloy strives to regain the trust of his family while Dahlia finds ways to amuse herself in Eden Falls. Perhaps the biggest surprise will be learning there is another Richards child living somewhere out there – something Wayne himself would find rather surprising!

Deborah Ayorinde, Sarah Niles, Hugh Quarshie, Adeyinka Akinrinade and Emmanuel Imani complete the cast for this British show which will debut on Prime Video in December 2022. Focused around Black families in business it should prove interesting to see whether it gets renewed for another season.
Nneka Okoye
The Riches has captured audiences with its compelling narrative. The show follows two sets of children who compete to inherit their father’s wealth and business from him, but production issues led to the cancellation of season 3. Although fans remain hopeful for its return, it seems unlikely there will be another season 3.
