A graduate from Howard University with a degree in film production.

Riches is an original series from Prime Video that follows the wealthy Richards family as they struggle with their beauty empire following patriarch Stephen Richards’ death and face division within. Similar to HBO’s Succession series, but with its own distinctive flair.

I highly recommend watching this show; its gripping storyline keeps viewers at the edge of their seat, the acting is excellent and its cast are fantastic – I hope for a second season soon; season one was truly exceptional and would no doubt prove very popular among audiences!

Hugh Quarshie

Hugh Quarshie is an English actor best known for his appearances in the two-part Doctor Who episode “Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks” from 2007. Additionally, he has appeared in Michele Soavi’s film The Church as well as BBC Television Shakespeare production of Titus Andronicus. Additionally, he narrated for television.

Abby Ajayi’s lavish family drama Riches, available both to UK audiences on ITVX and international viewers via Prime Video, culminates in several big twists that set up potential future installments of this storyline. One such twist involves Claudia Richards’s (Sarah Niles) paternity being revealed, potentially creating much friction within this volatile family drama.

Wayne Malloy strives to regain the trust of his family while Dahlia finds ways to amuse herself in Eden Falls. Perhaps the biggest surprise will be learning there is another Richards child living somewhere out there – something Wayne himself would find rather surprising!

Sarah Niles

Sarah Niles is an established British actress known for her roles in movies and TV shows like Mister Eleven and Beautiful People; Thorne: Sleepyhead; Catastrophe Spotless and I May Destroy You and Trying; as well as Riches series.

This series follows the Richards family as they struggle to run their hair and beauty empire. Hugh Quarshie plays Stephen Richards, Deborah Ayorinde plays Claudia Richards and Brendan Coyle plays Gideon Havelock – with Hugh Quarshie as Stephen Richards and Brendan Coyle as Gideon Havelock respectively.

Ola Orebiyi

The series has added two new faces to its cast: Leila Khan and Nima Taleghani will play two Higgs students who are close friends of Elle. Furthermore, viewers will see more of Nick’s family, such as Rachel played by Nneka Okoyi.
