No one knows for certain what the plot of Creed IV will entail yet, although speculation indicates Bianca and Amara’s daughter Amara could play a central role. Bianca met Amara for the first time at the end of Creed 3 and she agreed with Bianca’s assessment that Amara should look good between the ropes.

Creed IV is expected to be released either in 2026 or 2027.

Creed IV is expected to be released either in 2026 or 2027.

Rocky Balboa

Michael B. Jordan will reprise his role as Donnie Creed while Tessa Thompson returns as his fiancee, Bianca Taylor. Other characters appearing include Donnie’s mother Mary Anne Creed (Phylicia Rashad) and boxing coach Tony “Duke” Evers. The third movie in the Creed franchise will hit theaters on March 3rd 2023.

Though Rocky Balboa appears to be leaving the franchise, he could possibly return in Creed 4. The last scene from Creed III shows him playing around with Amara in the ring; perhaps Rocky may transition from fighter to coach?

Due to Mickey’s training, Adonis becomes a world champion, becoming a class hybrid fighter who combines qualities from an inside fighter, brawler and swarmer. Furthermore, Adonis can handle himself outside the ring, which becomes increasingly important as his life becomes increasingly complicated. Unfortunately, due to Adrian’s coma postponing their rematch match; Adonis agrees to an exhibition bout against Viktor Drago of Soviet boxing fame instead.

Adonis Creed

Fans were initially wary when it was announced that Creed would be rebooted with an all-new protagonist; however, it quickly became evident that this series would add something distinct to the legacy of the Rocky franchise. Adonis Creed (son of Apollo and Mary Anne Creed), is introduced as the protagonist; Rocky Balboa acts as his trainer while Bianca Taylor adopts him.

In the film, Adonis’ mother dies, leaving him to live a life of foster care and fighting to prove himself to others – especially if someone insults or criticizes him in some way. Adonis feels pressure to always prove himself when people insult or criticize him or compare him negatively to his father.

Adonis Creed, his son, is an aggressive fighter who doesn’t back down from anyone, even when people call him “baby Creed.” His fierce attitude makes him such an amazing fighter; always at the edge of throwing that first punch he has many of the same qualities as his father such as never giving up fighting and never backing down from a fight.

Bianca Taylor

After years of following boxer Apollo Creed through his son Adonis (Donnie), Michael B. Jordan portrays Donnie’s journey into boxing. Donnie, now WBC world heavyweight champion, must live up to a reputation that many held him accountable for; nevertheless he manages to create his own legacy thanks to mentor Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone).

Other familiar characters return, including Donnie’s mother Mary Anne Creed (Phylicia Rashad) and trainer Tony “Little Duke” Evers (Wood Harris). Newcomer Jonathan Majors plays Damian Anderson – Donnie’s friend released from prison who wants his share of what they feel he owes him.

Real-life professional Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez joins the cast of Creed III; however, it remains uncertain whether he will play himself or another character in the film. Other cast members known to appear include Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Spence Moore II and Mila Davis-Kent as well as musician Kehlani who will contribute a song for its soundtrack. Compared to Rocky movies which tend to feature more chaotic fight scenes; Creed movies feature more carefully choreographed boxing sequences while Bianca Taylor played by Tessa Thompson gives more advice at every major turning point of Donnie’s life journey.

Viktor Drago

Viktor Drago lives a modest existence in Kiev where he works as a slate mover by day. Although proud of his accomplishments and loved ones, his pride is marred by knowing that they could all vanish in one fight. Viktor trains his sons in boxing while inflicting strict discipline in training sessions; additionally he coaches and pushes Ludmilla – his wife – so her body will adjust itself against massive amounts of impact.

Viktor stands in stark contrast to Apollo and James “Clubber” Lang, whom Rocky defeated earlier. Instead, Viktor represents the classic Soviet stereotype of an emotionless warrior; an example being Creed being brutalized during an exhibition match by Viktor.

The next film in the franchise will likely focus on Amara, Adonis’ daughter with Bianca. Given the series’ emphasis on family values and Adonis coaching his own daughter after making the switch from fighter to coach, Michael B. Jordan as Adonis would likely begin coaching his own daughter after making this change himself.

Tessa Thompson (Bianca Taylor), Michael B. Jordan as Adonis, Jonathan Majors as Damian Anderson, Tessa Thompson (Bianca Taylor), Phylicia Rashad (Mary Anne Creed), Wood Harris as Tony Little Duke Evers and Florian Munteanu (Viktor Drago). All films directed and written by Michael B Jordan himself – Michael B Jordan himself in each role!). Michael B Jordan will direct and write both these projects himself!

Amara Creed

Adonis Creed has made his mark in boxing, yet not without facing challenges. Amara Creed suffers from an ongoing hearing disorder that will eventually leave her deaf; yet this has not deterred Adonis from his goal of building a gym to train young fighters. Meanwhile, Amara herself is studying biology pre-med at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University using American Sign Language for studies.

Jordan makes his directorial debut with this installment of the franchise, working from a screenplay written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. A core cast including Tessa Thompson as Bianca Creed, Mila Davis-Kent as Amara, Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne as well as Wood Harris and Jonathan Majors has returned – plus two newcomers – is back.

In 2002 Los Angeles, Adonis sneaks out of his house to watch Golden Gloves Champion Damian Anderson fight underground in an underground fight. On his way there he is approached by one of his childhood friends who informs him he owes money.
