Published by

CD Projekt has announced the biggest update coming to Cyberpunk yet. Here is everything you need to know about the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 Update.

CD Projekt has developed and published Cyberpunk 2077, an action role-playing video game. Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk world, is the setting for the story. Players adopt the first-person perspective of V, a configurable mercenary with hacking and mechanical talents as well as melee and ranged combat options.

Update 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available, allowing PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series console owners to download the genuine next-gen version of the game that was promised before the end of 2020. We’re here to summarise the key news from the long patch notes, whether you’re upgrading from a previous purchase or heard something about a free trial. Here is everything you need to know about the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 Update.

How to Download Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 Update on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S

If you already own Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’re eligible for a free next-gen upgrade of the game, which is optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series hardware. If Cyberpunk 2077 is installed, it will immediately update to the next-gen version. If it isn’t already installed, simply redownload the game from your library, and the next-gen upgrade for your Xbox Series X or Series S will be downloaded immediately. Your existing Cyberpunk 2077 save should load normally after installation.

The process is a little different for PS5. You will need to search the Play Station Store for Cyberpunk 2077. There you can find a special icon for the PS5 upgrade on the right side of the screen. This will download the game to your device. If you want to transfer your saved data from the PS4 to PS5 you will have to follow a specific procedure. You will need to save the game and upload the Save File to the cloud on the PS4. After that, you can import the Save File on your PS5.

Cyberpunk 2077 Free Trial

If you haven’t bought Cyberpunk 2077 yet, you can play the game for free. CD Projekt is offering a 5 hour Free Trial for the players. The 5 hours can be spread over multiple sessions. The Free Trial is available at the respective store.
