The Dallas Mavericks pulled off one of the best trade deals in the off-season by landing Kristaps Porzingis.
The former New York star has done extremely well since joining and has helped Luka Doncic score a ton of points.
Dallas are 7-5 after 12 games and could have had a better record had it not been for some close games.
The Spurs, for their part, haven’t really clicked into gear and lie 5-8. It is surprising seeing Gregg Popovich’s team struggle but the NBA regular season has a lot of games left.

Doncic has started this season in the same way he ended the previous one.
The Dallas star scored 26 points and recorded 15 rebounds in the win over the Raptors, and is the only point guard selected for this Dream 11 clash.
Lonnie Walker might not be picked due to a lack of minutes, but he can score some points for the Spurs and helps balance the credits for the rest of the team.
Seth Curry isn’t Steph, but the Dallas star scored 15 points in their previous game.
Popovich can always expect Rudy Gay to put up some decent points, and the Spurs star could be one of the surprise players against the Mavericks.
The other small forward picked for this clash is Dallas’ Tim Hardaway Jr, but he might not score too many points.
Maxi Kleber has scored some important points for Dallas this season and could do the same against the Spurs.
Two big stars are selected as the centers for this clash. Porzingis recorded 20 points and 15 boards in the win over the Raptors and has been great for the Mavericks.
LaMarcus Aldridge racked up 30 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs in his previous outing, but it wasn’t enough to hand them the W.
Aldridge could have a big game for the Spurs, but the star player for this clash should be Doncic.
The Mavericks should be slight favourites for this game, but if either Doncic or Porzingis have a poor night, the Spurs could get the win.
