Taylor Fritz

The 25-year-old played some scintillating tennis at the United Cup and helped the USA become the first-ever champions of the 18-team tournament. Jiri Lehecka, Alexander Zverev, Hubert Hurkacz, and Matteo Berrettini were the players who Fritz defeated in the tournament.

In the Australian Open, however, Fritz did not have a memorable campaign. He began with a win in four sets against Nikoloz Basilashvili before going down to Alexei Popyrin in a five-set thriller in the second round. Popyrin was exceptional with the first serve and had a win percentage of 87 with them. Fritz will be looking forward to getting his season back on track with a deep run in the Dallas Open.

Jack Sock

The 30-year-old was ousted in the first round of a Challenger event in Cleveland earlier this month. He lost to fellow American Alex Michelsen in straight sets.

Jack Sock

In the round of 32 of the Dallas Open, Jack Sock defeated Ilya Ivashka in a marathon battle. The match ended 7-6 (7-2), 4-6, 6-4 in favor of Sock. He had 10 double faults against his name but that didn’t cost him in the match.
