Daniel Altmaier Career

Altmaier entered the ATP main draw for the first time as a qualifier during the 2017 Geneva Open. He secured his place in the main draw by defeating Alexander Ward and Petr Michnev in the qualifying rounds. Unfortunately, he faced a defeat in the first round against Sam Querrey. However, he got another chance to compete in the 2017 Antalya Open as a lucky loser. In this tournament, he managed to win his first ATP tour-level match by defeating Víctor Estrella Burgos.
