Death Stranding Directors Cut is the second game being remastered and released with bonus content. Sony had previously released Ghost of Tsushima: Directors Cut with some bonus content. Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Production. The game was originally released for the Playstation 4 in 2019. The directors Cut version was first announced in June 2021.
The Directors Cut version of the game is set to release digitally and on disc on 24 September 2021. The players who have pre-ordered or pre-loaded the game can start playing from 12 am local time.
Death Stranding Directors Cut will be exclusively released on the next-gen console Playstation 5. But you can transfer your saved data from the PS4 to your PS5. The data transfer process will be similar to Final Fantasy VII Remake. First, check if the game is updated and you do not have any active orders in the game. After that proceed with the next steps. To transfer your data, open the game on your PS4 while you are online. Open your cufflinks with the options button then navigate to System and then select the Export Save Data option. To complete the process open the Directors Cut version on the PS5 and select the Load Game (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5) option.
