9th seed J.J. Wolf will square off against French veteran Adrian Mannarino in the round of 16 of the 2023 Delray Beach Open on Thursday.

The 24-year-old will be coming into the Delray Beach Open with a lot of confidence. He has been in fine form as of late. He made it to the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time at the Australian Open. Wolf followed it up with another impressive showing in the Dallas Open. He managed to make it to the semifinals of the tournament.
In the first round of the Delray Beach Open, Wolf faced Ilya Ivashka. The first set was a tight affair but the American tennis pro managed to hold on for the win. In the second set, Wolf played fine tennis and won the encounter 7-5, 6-3. Wolf had a win percentage of 78 on the first serve and converted 4 out of 7 break points.
Adrian Mannarino
The experienced campaigner also played in the Dallas Open. He managed to reach the quarterfinals where he lost to eventual champion Wu Yibing in a one-sided contest.
In the first round of the Delray Beach Open, Mannarino came back from a set down to defeat Daniel Altmaier 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. The German star smashed 15 aces but wasn’t as good in his returns. In fact, he only managed to convert 2 out of 12 break points. Mannarino showed all his experience and persevered to progress into the second round.
