Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date

Due to the immense success of the Mugen Train movie, season 3 will premiere in a special theatrical event. It will be across the globe on March 3. This will feature the conclusion of the previous season and the first episode of season 3, which is the Swordsmith Village Arc. While this premiere event will undoubtedly be a thrilling experience for fans, the official release date for the season is still a few weeks away.

Season 3 of Demon Slayer is scheduled to officially release on Sunday, April 9, 2023. However, there is some confusion regarding whether this includes the episode shown in theaters. Or if it only starts from episode 2 and beyond. It would be unusual for the theatrical event to be the only place to watch the premiere. It is still unclear how the episodes will be released. Furthermore, it is likely that the theatrical release is just a way for fans to see the episode early. While the official release on April 9th will be available for everyone to watch.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Trailer

Regardless of how the release plays out, fans can rest assured that the wait for Demon Slayer season 3 is almost over. The upcoming season is sure to bring even more excitement, action, and emotion. We know the journey of Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps. With the English dub trailer now available for fans to enjoy, the countdown to the season 3 premiere is well and truly underway.

In the upcoming third season of Demon Slayer, we will see Tanjiro journeying to a village of wordsmiths. There he must explain to Hotaru Haganezuka how his sword was so badly damaged. While waiting for his sword to be repaired, Tanjiro and his allies must fend off attacks from enemies that are closing in on them.

The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, is tasked with engaging the demons. However, he will need the help of Tanjiro and Genya, another Demon Slayer, to defeat two upper-rank demons. To make matters worse, they will also have to face an enemy who can split into four separate bodies. He can also regenerate almost instantly.

Story

Based on the manga, it is expected that Demon Slayer season 3 will cover roughly 25 chapters of the source material. This suggests that the upcoming season will focus on the Entertainment District Arc. This will likely result in a 10-12 episode season. However, some fans are worried that the series may end after season 4 since the show’s current pacing is quite fast. While it’s possible that the series could continue beyond that, doing so comes with some level of risk.

Demon Slayer season 3 will center around two main Hashiras. Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, and Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira. The primary demon antagonist will be Hantengu. He is one of the Twelve Kizuki and holds the position of Upper Rank Four. Fans of the series can expect to see some exciting battles and character development as the story progresses. With the movie’s success and the anticipation surrounding season 3’s release, the future of Demon Slayer seems bright. Viewers can look forward to more thrilling content in the years to come.

Who is Hantengu

Hantengu, one of the Upper Rank demons, has a twisted and dark past as a human. Despite his frail appearance and elderly facade, he was a vicious thief and murderer who constantly lied and blamed others for his heinous crimes. His cowardly nature is reflected in his demon form, where he splits himself into multiple clones, each showing different personalities and emotions. However, they all share one trait – fear.

Even as a human, Hantengu used his age and frailty as an excuse to escape punishment and deceive others. He would even blame his own hand for committing crimes, showing his manipulative and deluded nature. After turning into a demon, he retained these human traits, becoming a cruel and malevolent creature who took countless lives. Despite his evil nature, Hantengu is a tragic character who believed in his own innocence, even as he committed horrific acts. His twisted psyche makes him a formidable foe for Tanjiro, Genya, and Muichiro, as they face off against him in Demon Slayer season 3.

Conclusion

The Swordsmith Village Arc, which has the first episode of the third season, will be debuted as part of a theatrical event around the world on March 3. However, the official release date of season 3 is scheduled for Sunday, April 9, 2023. It remains unclear if the episode that will be shown in theaters is the same as the one that will be released on April 9, or if it is just an early premiere.

Either way, fans can expect to see more of these events in the future, especially after the massive success of the Mugen Train movie, which earned nearly half a billion dollars worldwide. The movie was a hit in both Japan and the west, and its success has paved the way for more of these events in the future.
