Destiny 2’s Endless Vale map demonstrates the new PVP Control mode which will be available to players for free. These battles will take place on the planet Nessus, characterized by its distinctive stone block architecture and red flora. This is mostly a corridor-centric environment that lends itself to quick, frenetic skirmishes, but it is also augmented with a number of large objective-based spaces that provide some contrast. To know more details about the Destiny 2 Endless Vale, read our guide below as we have covered everything that you should know.

Destiny 2 Endless Vale

Cayde-6, a Hunter vanguard, will assist players on Nessus, one of Destiny 2’s four new worlds. Players will assist Cayde-6 in taking down the Vex-controlled world. While the beta does not allow you to see Nessus, you can see it from the Inverted Spire strike and the Endless Vale. The map is essentially symmetrical, with points A, B, and C forming a triangle. In between points A and C, there is a cave that can be jumped over quickly. All roads ultimately lead to the courtyard, which offers plenty of hiding places for enemies and allies alike.

In addition, there is a basin that can be used by players to drop into the cave. Located in an elevated arena, point B is easily reachable from either point A or B via two winged flanks. As can be expected with any Control map, the Destiny 2 Endless Vale offers an extremely circular gameplay experience. Run in a figure-eight sequence from point A to point C to point B to point A, then return to point C. Take the points and beat the opponents standing in your way.

Endless Vale map tips

  • When fighting long distance, duck away from the battle and find a flanking route. Pathways leading from Gulch and Blocks towards Bend and Portal can be an effective way to get the upper hand.
  • You can use the irregular stone blocks and odd egg-shaped pods that are scattered everywhere; they create excellent concealment.
  • At the beginning of a Control match, most players will focus on point B. However, it’s worth going for the free objective that’s likely to be available. You can then instantly gain an advantage over the opponent with two objectives.
  • We suggest not rushing into objective B early on, as this will probably result in disaster. Instead, hang back and pick off targets, or flank from the side and try to catch your enemies off guard.
  • Titans can completely block damage from one direction using Barriers on this map, which is filled with tight spaces.
  • Be liberal with your use of grenades. The close-knit nature of this map is perfect for exploding your enemies.
