Destiny 2 Season 19 is approaching its release date. As the current season of the Plunder is coming to an end, the only question among the fans will be about the Season 19 Release Date, Weapons, Contents, and Features. Destiny 2 Season 19 – Release Date
The first major reveal regarding Destiny 2 is obviously its release date. The season 19 Release Date is December 6, 2022. Players will be able to play the current Season of the Plunder till 5th Dec 2022 as the next and final expansion of Witch Queen will go live on December 6, 2022.
Season 19 updates will go live after the game’s regular weekly reset time. Season 19 will commence on 6 Dec 2022 and will be available till Feb 28, 2023, before the next Lightfall expansion commences along with Destiny 2 Season 20. The upcoming Season 19 Title is rumored as Age of Telesto.
Destiny 2 Season 19 – New Weapons
Bungie has officially confirmed that two new Exotic Weapons will be available in Destiny 2 Season 19 along with the new Season Pass. Guardians can expect a new exclusive Ritual weapon that has Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard Ornaments. Some of the incumbent weapons in the Season 18 Loot Pool will no longer exist from the following Season 19.
As of now new Exotic Weapons with anti-champion functionality, Weapon reworks, and Iron Banner sets are the major confirmed weapon-related updates for Season 19. Additionally, the players will be able to craft weapons from the Deep Stone Crypt in the weekly raid rotation. The Guardians will also be able to get a new exclusive Deepsight Weapon every week.
Destiny 2 Season 19 – Dungeon
A new Dungeon is in the plans for Season 19, as the existing Dungeon King Fall’s Raid won’t be available. Only a new Dungeon for the next season is confirmed, as the other details about the Dungeon theme and name for Season 19 are not locked yet.
Destiny 2 Season 19 – Other Major Contents
Destiny 2 next chapter will include a new Crucible in the form of Glorious and the weekly rotations are expected to change frequently. Both Crucible and PvP will be getting an overhaul from the next editor. While the Control and Clash modes will transform into a single Quickplay playlist. Speaking about maps, Guardians can expect many maps including new ones and vintage vaulted maps.
The storyline of Season 19 is not confirmed, yet there are talks that the story will be based on Ana Bray and Rasputin, also the story theme will be interlinked with the next Lightfall expansion. More updates regarding the storyline and gameplay of Destiny 2 Season 19 will be revealed in the coming days.
Other major changes for Season 19 will be the ability and economy changes as Bungie has been doing it for a long period of time. Bungie will be finally saying goodbye to the Destination Materials. While there are talks that the controversial exotic weapon Divinity is getting a nerf from Season 19 onwards.
