The Warpriest Challenge is reasonably easy compared to a few of the different raid challenges. This does not mean that you can just complete it without having any trouble. If you do not use the right strategy then you might face lots of problems in this challenge. Therefore, we have a few tips and tricks that will help you to complete the Destiny 2 Warpriest challenge. Gameplay

Destiny 2 Warpriest Challenge Team Selection

There must be at least one Defender Titan in your six to be effective, but this can be improved with a duo for Blessings and Weapons of Light combined. You need two Nightstalker Hunters running Black Hole Shadowshot to extend tether damage if you want to do this fast – within two rounds, or with nothing to worry about in the third.

You can choose among the Warlock subclasses, but remember that self-revive won’t solve the issue of passing along the Aura upon death. However, Sunsinger adds control and protection. In DPS, the most popular weapons are high impact snipers, Sleeper Simulants, or Touch of Malice.

Two Guardians will take charge of the right, middle, and left. The guys in the middle watch each other’s backs as the adds leave their doors, while Warpriest stands below them. Because the sequence will run right, middle, and then middle again, it does not matter much where each class or subclass stands, but your first initiate should be on the right-hand side. When it comes to DPS, it is best if Initiates are not hunters so they can tether more easily.

In addition to that, pick one Guardian to read glyphs from behind for the first two rounds. It makes the most sense for the Guardian to be one of the guys already in the middle. The ‘mosh pit’ becomes a no-go zone when it gets to the third round due to Taken ads, but since two glyph stones have already melted, it is easy for everyone to see how the sequence unfolds.

Who to kill first?

Two-man teams simply clear any adds that fall into view once they have triggered the event by stepping on the three plates. It is imperative that you do not kill the Adept Acolytes before their minions are killed. When their glorious leaders die, regular acolytes become enraged and gain the ability to Eye Blast. The adds at the top right tend to take cover, but be sure to get all of them since those that remain can cause trouble during DPS.

You will perform your DPS primarily at the right and middle where all the damage you will be doing for this challenge will be done. Once you have taken down the Hallowed Knights, assume everything is under control.

Aura goes at the right

In Glyph Sequences, you usually get top left before tossing a coin between middle and right, but don’t be afraid to try anything. It’s important to keep in mind that those who take the Aura will take cover behind the small barrier next to the activation plate on the right-hand side. Initially, Weapons of Light must be placed behind the activation plate if you’ve only one Titan.

Get the Titan’s Blessings of Light

If possible, get the Titan’s Blessings of Light on Warpriest as soon as possible, and headshot the boss as hard as you can. There will be a Titan bubble for the duration of the DPS round, but a second tether is handy. When the Oculus melts the first stone, it will unleash a Darkness Blast.

Second DPS stage

When in this second stage of DPS, Weapons of Light are the best option for experienced teams. They should be positioned by the entrance at the back, giving the team plenty of time to adjust the line of sight. Initiates use the barrier between the door and activation plate for cover while targeting adds. If you time the Hunter’s tethers correctly, you will get the maximum benefit and make every headshot count. Warpriest will collapse just before the final extension if you do this well.

Be aware of the Taken Hobgoblin’s tri-missile powers

Once Warpriest absorbs the energy from the center Glyph stone, he acquires the tri-missile powers of the Taken Hobgoblin – unleashed whenever he takes damage. The team isn’t too concerned with this during the add phase, since they’re focused on the Taken Hive flooding the room. There are more enemies in Challenge Mode, and your team may need extra assistance in the center, which means throwing area-of-effect grenades to calm things down. This time around, keep in mind that the Taken Knights can be seen next to the three activation plates.

Assemble everyone

In the previous DPS stage, gather everyone in front of the entrance portal. Blessings of Light is now the essential Titan bubble, though associates’ weapons are also welcome. You’re under pressure to extend your aura while staying alive under missile bombardment during your third, ideally last, initiate.

Fortunately, there are countless Taken adds available. You might instruct your Titan with the Blessings bubble to stay out of harm’s way. Keep in mind that the team is vulnerable once that Blessings bubble is gone.
