Predicted Watford XI to face Bournemouth in the Premier League
Watford rescued a point at home against Newcastle United last week courtesy of Abdoulaye Doucoure’s late equaliser and the Hornets will face another tough test against Bournemouth away from home on Wednesday night.
Javi Gracia’s men currently sit 9th in the standings and they will be looking to climb further up the table when they face the Cherries in the mid-week clash.
Bournemouth suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United in their last game but they will be hopeful of getting a positive result on Wednesday after beating Watford 4-0 in their previous encounter.
Team News
Christian Kabasele is ruled out with a shoulder injury while Sebastian Prodl (knee) and Andre Gray (calf) are also doubtful to play a part on Wednesday.
Manager: Javi Gracia
Formation: 4-2-2-2
Predicted XI
1. Ben Foster (GK)
He looked a bit clumsy and confused in the last game but has otherwise been a reliable presence between the sticks.
2. Daryl Janmaat (RB)
The Dutchman returned to the first-team after a three-month-long injury absence and put in a decent shift.
3. Craig Cathcart (CB)
The Englishman has been very good in the air and has put in some really solid performances at the heart of the defence this season.
4. Adrian Mariappa (CB)
The veteran struggled to cope with Newcastle’s attackers in the last game but Gracia has little choice with Kabasele out injured.
5. Jose Holebas (LB)
Adam Masina had a poor game against Newcastle so the veteran is likely to come into the starting line-up for this one.
6. Etienne Capoue (CDM)
The former Spurs man did not impose himself on the game last week but has otherwise been a consistent performer all throughout the season.
7. Abdoulaye Doucoure (CDM)
Domingos Quina struggled against Newcastle so Gracia must hand the Frenchman a start as he will be high on confidence after scoring the equaliser last week.
8. Will Hughes (RM)
He returned to action in the last game and should start this one after putting up a decent display.
9. Roberto Pereyra (LM)
The former Juventus man wasn’t particularly influential in the last game but he has been one of the best performers for the Hornets this season.

10. Troy Deeney (ST)
Watford’s club captain showed a lot of promise after coming off the bench against Newcastle and should be given a start for this one.
11. Gerard Deulofeu (ST)
The Spaniard wasn’t at his best in the last game but still managed to provide the assist for the equaliser and Watford will need him to fire on all cylinders on Wednesday.
