Diablo 4 Season 1 has many dungeons in five regions. These are mandatory challenges that help you scale up in-game levels and experience. Dungeons primarily include boss fights along with small tasks. You can play dungeons after crossing level 30. You can play dungeons to unlock powerful legendary aspects as well. Dungeons can be played in solo or co-op multiplayer mode.
Dry Steppes has the most challenging dungeons of Diablo 4. Here, you have to cross various hurdles and traps to complete challenges. Shifting City is a dungeon in Qara Yisu. Unlock and complete The Ruins of Qara-Yisu Stronghold and reach level 40. The shifting city dungeon is located southwest of Ked Bardu. Once you enter the dungeon, you can spot small mobs wandering before the Forsaken Entrance Gate. Shoot them and proceed further.
Explore the entire dungeon and look for two ancient statues. The statues spawn once you get closer. Locate them on the map. There will be two different statues in the arena. Carry them one by one and deposit them at the pedestals inside the dungeon itself. Now, the locked gate will open and you gain entry.
Descend down and enter the next hall. Here, again a bunch of monsters will roam. Use a ranged weapon and shoot them from a distance. Avoid losing hp to these creatures inside the dungeon. After killing all monsters, you have to damage the barrier and unlock the next path.
Walk further and look for healing well. You can restore some hp. Your next stop is Ruins of Anguish and look for Animus Carriers. A small interaction will complete this part and you can collect some Animus after defeating Animus Carriers, the elite enemies.
Defeat these creatures and take the Animus substance and deposit it to the Animus Urn. The locations are bigger and you have to look around for enemies before proceeding. Clear the entire zone and slay monsters before stepping into the next zone.
The sealed door will open once you deposit the Animus. Walk through the path and reach the secret room. Get down and reach the Chamber of Malice. Now the final part of the Shifting City Dungeon begins with a boss fight against the Tomb Lord boss.
Tomb Lord Boss – You can overcome its poisonous attacks and projectiles using a sword or other melee weapon. It attacks harder and faster. The boss also uses bone walls and you have to avoid standing near them, or else, you will explode. Also, you have to slay all its skeleton minions. They keep spawning frequently and you can slay them with a fire elemental weapon.
You can use a Scythe or throw spears on its back. Using status effects is another best strategy to defeat the Tomb Lord boss. Eventually Tomb Lord surrenders after losing hp.
