• Getting Legendary Aspects like Needleflare Aspect and Death Wish Aspect will get you the stat
• Unlocking the Necromancer skill, Spiked Armor, gets you Thorn
• You can obtain Thorns stat by obtaining these three exclusive Armor sets that include Ring of Mendeln, Rage of Harrogath, Razorplate

These are the ways to get Thorns. The stat works great for Barbarian and Necromancer classes. Here are the uses of Thorns,

• Deals damage to targets whenever they are hit by direct attacks. This excludes attacks that are entirely damage over time.
• Damage dealt is also affected by the Skill damage increase from your character’s main attribute.

This is how the Thorns function and this passive skill works well in close-range. Whenever you receive incoming attacks and damage, you can return them to nearby units. You have to increase the other base stats for each class heroes to gain the benefits of Thorns. You can focus on increasing these stats for all your classes like,

• Barbarian – Strength
• Necromancer – Intelligence
• Druid – Willpower
• Rogue – Dexterity
• Sorceress – Intelligence

That’s how you can get Thorns and use it. It primarily boosts your attacks after taking damage. Thorns don’t work the same for all classes in the game. Barbarian and Necromancer class heroes can utilize these effects to get the best results. 

Stats are a new mechanic that you can collect from loot drops across the sanctuary. Stats enhance your skills and they provide a huge boost temporarily. Though these stats only provide effects for a short time, you can exploit them and dominate battles.
