Jade Cargill has joined WWE and rumours suggested she would be named Jaida Parker but she could be called Jade Storm
WWE had made a trademark after becoming part of TKO Group Holdings, and one of the rumours doing the rounds were regarding the name Jaida Parker.
Some believed that this could be the name given to new signing from AEW Jade Cargill (h/t Cage Side Seats).
Cargill is one of the biggest names to have switched from WWE to AEW, and there is a lot of hype regarding the female talent.
There have been a lot of rumours about Cargill during her time wrestling, but not a lot has been said about the former AEW star and what is expected from her.
Her name also has not been confirmed but one tweet from Cargill got the fans going. She just posted one sentence saying that a storm is coming, and that was enough for fans to speculate that Cargill would be called Jade Storm.
Now this does make a bit of sense given that Cargill does have the hair of the X-Men character Storm. She has spoken about playing the character as well, and has even dressed up as Storm a few times.
Neither WWE nor Cargill have confirmed this to be her name going forward, but fans are convinced that this is how it will go.
As for Jaida Parker, the rumour of this name being picked for Cargill was done and dusted after NXT’s house show in Fort Piece on September 22.
It has now been confirmed that former LSU star Tiana Caffey performed under the name of Jaime Parker (h/t Cage Side Seats).
When will Jade Cargill make her WWE debut?
If anyone is there who could make their WWE debut as soon as possible, it has to be Cargill.
WWE has done a lot of promotion about this former AEW star joining their company, and it would make sense for them to bring her to the limelight since her stock is high.
WWE Fastlane would be an interesting option for Cargill’s WWE debut. She hasn’t done much on TV, but she has already reacted to a lot of comments from other WWE stars, such as Bayley.
Fastlane is on 7 October, and there are some big matches on the card. The one that would interest Cargill the most would be for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Iyo Sky defends her title against Asuka and Charlotte Flair, and that could see Cargill make an entrance after the match is done.
Cargill vs Asuka or Flair or even Sky would be a treat for all WWE fans. However, will WWE push Cargill for a title charge as soon as she has come to the company.
That will only be confirmed once she makes her debut, and hopefully, it is this weekend.
