Kevin Iole of Yahoo sports claimed that Dillon Danis still owes a fine for the Khabib Nurmagomedov brawl
Conor McGregor might be back in UFC action soon but he will not have sparring partner Dillon Danis beside him due to the brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports claims that Danis still owes $7,500 to Nevada for the fight. The Athletic Commission aren’t involved in all this but McGregor’s partner will not feature at UFC 246 until the fine is paid.
The fight between McGregor and Nurmagomedov was one of the biggest in the history of UFC.
However, things got a little out of hand after Nurmagomedov beat McGregor as both parties attacked each other.
The Russian started it all after jumping over the Octagon and both parties were heavily fined and suspended from fighting.
According to Bob Bennett, @dillondanis owes state of Nevada, NOT the athletic commission, $7,500 from his punishment in the #McGregorKhabib brawl at #UFC229. He will not be allowed to work @TheNotoriousMMA's corner at #UFC246 until he pays the fine.

McGregor looking to get back to winning ways
The Irishman is still one of the most decorated fighters in the history of the UFC. However, he was comprehensively beaten by Nurmagomedov and hasn’t fought since UFC 229.
He will be up against Donald Cerrone on 18 January, and it will be interesting to see how the clash goes.
Danis has featured in a couple of Bellator fights and has a record of 2-0 so far. Him not being in McGregor’s side shouldn’t be that much of a problem and hopefully, he pays the fine and can be seen in the state.
