In a recent teaser, we saw Mickey Mouse, Sully from Monsters Inc., Jack Sparrow, and other Disney characters driving classic cars as part of Disney Speedstorm, a free, multi-genre arcade racing game. As each of these characters has their own ultimate skills, players will approach races in a different way. During the Nintendo Direct stream, it was expressed that these skills will be perfect for changing the course of the race at the last minute, similar to Mario Kart’s powerups and blue shells.

Compared to Mario Kart, Crash Team Racing, and Chocobo GP, Disney Speedstorm will resemble a racing game. It is interesting that Disney Speedstorm will be free-to-play, with paid content likely to be available in the future for players who wish to purchase skins and rewards.
Disney Speedstorm will be available to play across multiple platforms like Nintendo Switch, PC (Windows, Epic Games, Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
