Joanna Jedrzejczyk is one of the top names in the UFC but what is her relationship history like and does she have a boyfriend?
Former UFC Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk is one of the biggest names in the sport.
The Polish star won the UFC Women’s Strawweight title by defeating Carla Esparza at UFC 185.
However, she lost the title to Rose Namajunas at UFC 217. Jedrzejczyk still holds several MMA records and has a great Muay Thai and kickboxing record too.
While we know all about her exploits inside the ring and the Octagon, the Polish star was once engaged.
Reports suggest that Jedrzejczyk was engaged to former Polish footballer Przemyslaw Buta. However, she split with her boyfriend while speaking in a 2019 interview.
This is the only information available regarding Jedrzejczyk’s relationships. As of now, there is no confirmation whether she is in a relationship or has a boyfriend.
What happened between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and her boyfriend?
Jedrzejczyk had some troubles when she lost twice to Namajunas and then to Valentina Shevchenko.
While speaking on UFC Unfiltered (h/t Sun), she brought up how her former boyfriend Buta was unfaithful to her.
“The last two years were pretty difficult for me.
“It was a rough time, and I feel like 2019 is a special year, so I can’t wait for 2020.
“I broke up with my fiance, and we broke up before my first fight with Rose Namajunas, and this terrible weight cut happened, and I broke up again.”
The Pole also confirmed that her previous manager had “messed up” her money, and that her fiance was cheating on her.
“This year I found out that my [previous Polish] manager messed up my money, and then I found out that my fiance was cheating on me.
“That girl called me; I think that she was afraid that I was going to beat her up so badly, but I was like, ‘No, I’m kidding.’”
Jedrzejczyk last fought at UFC 248 in a crazy match against Zhang Weili. This was also for the Strawweight title and the Pole lost.
However, many have called this the greatest women’s title fight in MMA history, and the pair will slug it out at UFC 275 in the rematch.
