Roman Reigns tweeted that he was going to beat up Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown
The upcoming SmackDown episode will have one big clash with Roman Reigns facing Dolph Ziggler.
The Showoff got hit last week as Reigns destroyed Bobby Roode. The Glorious One was already carrying an injury and was being taken off on a stretcher.
The Big Dog then came back to first knockout Ziggler and then toss Roode off the stretcher.
Roode looked to be in a lot of pain and Reigns went on to suggest that SmackDown was his backyard.
Baron Corbin started this feud before Survivor Series and mocked Reigns with a dog mascot too. The Big Dog didn’t take things lightly, even threatening to eliminate the King from their Survivor Series match.
Reigns did lead his side to the win at Survivor Series and had help from Mustafa Ali, Braun Strowman and Short G.
Corbin suggested that he was going to humiliate Reigns once again on the upcoming SmackDown episode.
However, the former champion laughed off Corbin’s comments and claimed he would beat Ziggler.
The Showoff didn’t take the tweet too kingly and was out for revenge. Reigns might have hurt his partner, but Ziggler went full “Bloodsport” mode and said he was going to take The Dog down.
Ziggler also spoke about how Reigns had ended Bobby’s career. And it will be interesting to see when Roode returns to in-ring action.
Where are SmackDown heading with this?
Reigns is one of the biggest stars in the business and it is surprising that WWE are doing this with their top star.
He could be involved in the title fight with The Fiend, which would make for an interesting storyline but we have Daniel Bryan facing off against Wyatt.
Ziggler is also one of the best on the mike and in the ring, and hasn’t always been on the winning side in recent weeks.
Roode and Ziggler wanted to be part of the SmackDown Survivor Series team too, however, they weren’t able to get into the side.
It will be interesting to see how this clash goes, and Corbin could have something on his mind to help Ziggler get the win.
