Dolph Ziggler is currently with King Corbin but teased a match with John Morrison

Former Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler might not be in a title run-in but he teased a clash with newly signed star John Morrison.

Morrison recently re-signed with WWE and was seen on last week’s episode of SmackDown. The former ECW Champion will feature in a Miz TV segment in the upcoming episode but Ziggler seems to have bigger plans.

Ziggler tweeted a photo of him and Morrison in action, which would have been taken from nearly a decade back.

Morrison left WWE to pursue an independent career and made it big before returning to his former employers.

Morrison’s next fight?

It is a little difficult for Ziggler and Morrison to fight each other soon given that both of them are on different paths.

Ziggler and Corbin will fight against the returning Usos on SmackDown. Morrison, for his part, will be in a segment with the Miz, and he was seen on last week’s show too.

The former champions are great in the ring and a clash between the pair would be incredible. Morrison has worked on his skills since leaving WWE while Ziggler is still one of the best in the business.

Unfortunately, Ziggler is stuck with Corbin, and although he is doing a great job, a singles run is needed for the Showoff.

Morrison also seems to be set for some tag action with the Miz, and it will be interesting to see what he says on Miz TV.
