This Titan Creature is one of the intimidating Pokemon in the game. Dondozo is a water-type Pokemon and resembles a fish. You need to get to the northwestern region of Paldea to find Dondozo.
The Dondozo will be spawning at the Casseroya lake. You need to visit the place to initiate the battle against Dondozo. Dondozo has high HP and ATK stats along with several special skills. Dondozo also holds a couple of hidden abilities that he will unleash during the later stages of the battle. This Titan battle against Dondozo will be an interesting challenge. Dondozo, The False Dragon Titan Fight Strategy & Guide
Just like other battles, the one against Dondozo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet happens in two parts. Here’s an easy guide to defeat Dondozo.
Phase 1
Dondozo is a powerful DPS with more HP and ATK. Dondozo is a water-type, you can counter the Pokemon with a powerful electric or grass creature. You can go with Meowscarada, Flutter Mane, or Great Tusk for electric-type. For grass-type, Arboliva, Breloom, Zarude, and Scovillain can be your best options.
Dondozo deals massive damage and unleashes water moves, block its attacks, deal damage and reduce its health until it comes to red. Dondozo will escape and jump into an island, then it swims and goes to nearby lake or other places.
You have to search in the lake and island, you can swim and search for the Titan Dondozo to initiate the battle again. Now the battle against Dondozo moves to the second and final phase.
Phase 2
During the second phase, you are accompanied by Arven. But this time you and Arven, both have to be meticulous as Dondozo, the Titan Pokemon comes with full HP along with Mystica Herb. Arven also brings Greedent to the battle to assist you during the second phase of the battle. Greedent is a powerful tank, and Dondozo will really struggle now, as you are supported by 2 others. Keep attacking Dondozo until his HP drains once again. After a long gap, the battle against Dondozo ends.
Well, the fight is not over yet, after defeating Dondozo, The False Dragon Titan, players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet need to defeat another Titan which is Tatsuguri.
Tatsuguri, The False Dragon
Tatsuguri is a water/dragon Pokemon, the orange-colored fish species is seen in the lake. Tatsuguri is boosted by Mystica Herb, and this Titan is weaker against Ice, Fairy, and Dragon moves. Arven is there to guide you once again, you can use ice and fairy to deal damage initially, then dragon moves can be unleashed only if required, as Tatsuguri is also a dragon-type. Continue to deal damage, reduce the Titan’s HP, and complete the battle.
