The Dragon Quest monsters are now available on your mobile devices and here is a tier list of all the monsters available in Dragon Quest Tact.

The Dragon Quest series is a Japanese role-playing game first released in 1986. Players can collect different monsters to join their party and fight enemies. Dragon Quest Tact has a different mechanism from the original series games. You can control the monsters in a tactical grid-based combat mode.

There is a huge roster of monsters available in Dragon Quest Tact. Some familiar faces from the previous Dragon Quest games also make an appearance in Dragon Quest Tact. The tier list is a guide to the game.

S Rank

These are the best characters in the Dragon Quest Tact Monster List. They have great stats and are very useful from the start of the game to the end game phase.

1. Estark

Leader Perks: Raise Physical Potency by 15%

Abilities: AoE Zam-Type damage

2. Slionheart

Leader Perks: Lower enemy defense by 20%

Abilities: AoE Potency Physical damage, Zap type damage to random enemies, woosh type damage + chances to lower enemy defense

3. Baramos

Leader Perks: Raises Bang type brilliant potency by 15%

Abilities: Physical AoE damage, Bang type spell damage, Woosh type spell damage

4. Zoma

Leader Perks: Raises Crack type spell potency by 20%

Abilities: Inflicts moderate Crack type AoE damage, Crack Spell damage, Spell damage

5. Queen Slime

Leader Perks: Raises Slime Material Potency

Abilities: Attack damage on one enemy, Crack attribute damage to all enemies in range, attract enemies.

Strength: Physical damage, leader perks

11. Squidzilla

Strength: Leader perks, Physical damage

12. Hybrid

Strength: Frizz resistance reduction for enemies

13. Night Clubber

Strength: Leader perks, physical damage

14. Prism Peacock

Strength: Frizz and Zap attribute damage, Leader perk

15. Killing Machine

Strength: Ranged attack

16. Metal Dragon

Strength: Woosh attribute damage, leader perk, powerful against woosh weakness enemies

17. Archdemon

Strength; Bang and Crack attribute damage

18. Great Troll

Strength: Durability and attack power

19. Hell Gladiator

Strength: Lowers enemy defense, Woosh damage, Poison damage

20. Wight King

Strength: Best Spell team leader, Woosh and Zam damage

These are great monsters that lack certain stat that stops them from being S rank. They are super powerful and can be substituted for S rank monsters.

1. Dark Skeleton

Perks: Leader perk raises undead defense

Abilities: Physical damage with stun possibility, Zam type physical damage

2. Cosmic Chimaera

Perk: Raises Frizz type potency

Ability: Frizz type spell damage, Bang type AoE spell damage

3. King Slime

Strength: Occasionally locks x1 enemy spell, Zap damage

4. Slimecicle

Strength: Crack and Bang attribute damage

5. Slimeshroom

Strength: Can put the enemy to sleep, Zam attributes damage

6. Axesaurus

Strength: Frizz attribute damage, great leader perk

7. Wyrtoise

Strength: Great leader perk, Zam and Woosh damage

8. Handsome Crab

Strength: Leader perk increases physical power, Woosh damage, Physical damage

Skills: Woosh type physical damage to all enemies in AoE

4. Cyber Slime

Skills: Woosh and Zap type damage

5. Lemon Slime

Skills: Increase spell resistance of an ally, Sizz damage, crack damage

6. Dragurn

Skills: Frizz damage, Self HP recovery, Cover ally

7. Wharfhorse

Skills: Grants boost to allies, Crack damage

8. Hades Condor

Skills: Heals an ally, raises defense of all allies

9. Gargoyle

Skills: Physical damage

10. Orc Chieftain

Skills: Zap type physical damage, heals an ally

11. Tearwolf

Skills: physical damage
