Dragon’s Dogma has been a fan favourite game for ages. The fans have been asking for a sequel for years and we finally have some leaks which might give us some information about that much-awaited sequel.

Dogma is an action RPG hack and slash developed by Capcom. It was made in 2012 for the Play Station 3 and the Xbox 360. The game was also later ported to the next models of the consoles, the PS4 and the Xbox One. A new life was given to the game when it was ported to Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch.

With the game getting such popularity, a sequel was highly requested by the devoted fans. And the leaks prove that Capcom was listening and were preparing for a sequel. The internal servers of Capcom were hacked by someone and the documents stolen from those servers have shed some light on the future of the series.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date

According to the leaks, the sequel which is dubbed Dragon’s Dogma 2, is set to be released in the second quarter of the fiscal year of 2022. This means we might get to play the game as early as June 2022.

Dragon’s Dogma had a unique multiplayer system. Players had three AI-controlled pawns where one was their own and the other two belonged to other players. The pawns gained experience points and items. They could bring back this system. But with all the new games having co-op modes, this system might feel a little old. 

All the information is based on rumours and leaks so take it with a grain of salt. Capcom might decide to change any of these details.
