Turner played for the Portland Trail Blazers from 2016 to 2019, and was one of the victims in the Western Conference who suffered from the wrath of Golden State Warriors who had the likes of Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala. In the very last season of the playoffs, the Warriors swept Trail Blazers in the WC Finals, safe to say Evan Turner seem to hold the grudge till date.

On the Point Forward Podcast with Andre Iguodala, Turner admitted to the feeling and went to call out the Warriors’ dynasty as ‘unfair’ and ‘lame.’
