“Dream come true” – Trevor Noah confirms 2020 Match for Africa raises astonishing amount

South African comedian Trevor Noah posted a great update after the 2020 Match for Africa

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Trevor Noah and Bill Gates put on a clinic at the 2020 Match for Africa.

The quartet played in the celebrity match of the sixth edition of the event was held in Cape Town, South Africa.

Noah, who is South African, is one of the best comedians in the world. He hosts the Daily Show but is always willing to do additional work for charities etc.

The comedian also had some great moments in the match as he paired up with Nadal in the doubles clash.

Federer and Gates had their moments too and they were the ones that won the match. However, the result wasn’t all that important as this clash and the singles match between the Swiss and Nadal were for a great cause.

It raises funds for the Roger Federer Foundation and Noah confirmed that the two matches had raised an incredible $3million.

He also added that this was a dream come true as three great people played in the match.

Noah added that they had created a record for the highest attendance in a tennis match, which now stands at 51,954.

Federer yet to lose in Match for Africa

The Swiss ace has played six singles matches in the Match for Africa and is yet to lose one. He won the first set against Nadal before the Spaniard roared back and levelled the game.

Federer closed out the match by winning the third set and he hasn’t tasted defeated in any of them. The Swiss ace and Nadal put on a great show for the fans with both showcasing their array of skills.

However, the result on this night isn’t important as the quartet did a lot to raise funds for the Roger Federer Foundation.
