Drew McIntyre and Bayley spoke with Britt Baker after her unsanctioned match on AEW Dynamite
Speaking on the Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette Podcast (h/t Ringside News), Britt Baker has revealed that WWE superstars Drew McIntyre and Bayley got in touch with her after her brutal unsanctioned match on AEW Dynamite.
Baker, who is considered the face of the AEW Women’s division, was recently involved in a brutal, hard-hitting Lights Out match against Thunder Rosa. The battle left both the wrestlers, bruised, battered and bloodied.
There was a lot of praise coming their way after the show that Baker and Thunder Rosa put up on AEW Dynamite. And Baker has now gone on to reveal that some of the biggest stars from AEW’s rival promotion, WWE, also got in touch her after the bout to congratulate her.

Speaking on the podcast, Baker, who happens to be the partner of WWE NXT Superstar Adam Cole, opened up on how Drew McIntyre and Bayley got in touch with her following her bout against Rosa on AEW Dynamite.
“Drew McIntyre messaged me, and I was really excited about that! Oh, my gosh, there were so many people. Trent Seven, who I think is one of the funniest people on the planet, messaged me. I had a nice message exchange yesterday with the other ‘Role Model’, Bayley. She’s one of my favorites. I’m literally a fangirl for her.”
Baker also confirmed that WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was also among the ones who congratulated her after that fight.
“Mick Foley loved it! He was very complimentary of the match.”
Despite the rivalry between the two promotions, it is always nice to see camaraderie between the wrestlers. Good on Drew McIntyre and Bayley to have reached out to Baker to congratulate on her contest vs Rosa on AEW Dynamite.
The Women’s division on AEW is something that has attracted criticism from some sections. Hopefully, this bout marks the start of a new and exciting period for the division.
