McIntyre followed it up with a victory at the 2020 Royal Rumble, after defeating Roman Reigns. He then went on to become the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 36 after beating the dangerous Brock Lesnar.
He then had several reigns as the WWE Champion and is now currently involved in a feud with Bobby Lashley in a bid to regain the WWE Championship.
