The event is scheduled to take place next month in February. But, first, let us look at the matches taking place at the event.

1. Men’s Royal Rumble Match

This is one of the biggest pay-per-view matches of the year. The present roster and the Hall of Famers or famous veterans make entry.

To this point, Jackass star Johnny Knoxville is the only person announced for the men’s Royal Rumble match. The winner of this match is expected to come from Raw, with most expecting a Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns clash at WrestleMania.

It might be Big E, or Bobby Lashley could win for the first time. Seth Rollins is one of the top contenders for the WWE Championship. He could win the match.

2. Women’s Royal Rumble Match

Women’s Royal Rumble has been taking place over the past four years, and it is going to take place this year as well. It will include several surprises and NXT talent to get 30 participants.

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley could make her come back and win the Royal Rumble, or it can be Bianca Belair, who has already won it once.

3. SmackDown Women’s Championship match

WWE teased a rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks but never followed it up. Now that Toni Storm is not a part of WWE, Banks seem to be the number 1 contender to challenge SmackDown Women’s title against The Queen.

A controversial finish that sees Flair escape with her title, then Banks went to win the Rumble later in the night to challenge her at WrestleMania will be worth visiting the fans.

4. WWE Championship Match

Brock Lesnar celebrated his sixth reign as a world champion in WWE on Day 1. However, Bobby Lashley has expressed his desire to face The Beast, and this week on Raw, it has been confirmed that Lashley will be facing Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble.

Lashley speared Lesnar two times on Day 1 and even put him in The Hurt Lock. The company teased the fans through the match by placing a fire between them, and now they will be witnessing a battle for the first time.
