Norwich City will be looking to strengthen their position at the top of the Championship table further when they travel to Stoke City. Already 5 points clear at the top, the sudden stumble from Leeds has made this a rather comfortable affair for the Canaries but they mustn’t take anything for granted.
Their last fixture saw them play out a tight 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday and although the dropped points would’ve hurt their cause, their position is in no real danger. It took a 97th minute Mario Vrancic free-kick to level the score-line as the league leaders stole a point on the night.

Emiliano Buendia, who picked up a red card against Queen’s Park rangers a few weeks ago is expected to return to the side on Monday after serving his 3-game disciplinary ban. Louis Thompson is another player who has been recovering well but isn’t quite fully ready yet.
Carlton John Morris’ ankle problem has troubled his this season and his return is expected to be later in the month. With Buendia returning, the Canaries will be hoping to put an end to their rather unfortunate 3-match draw streak.
