Why Danny Rose must leave Tottenham Hotspur and join PSG

Tottenham Hotspur and England left-back Danny Rose has emerged as a shock transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain. New manager Thomas Tuchel must sign an alternative for Layvin Kurzawa, following the departure of Yuri Berchiche to Athletic Bilbao.

As far as Danny Rose is concerned, the 28-year-old has played second fiddle to Ben Davies at Spurs due to his injury problems in the last year or two. Hence, it can be suggested that the Englishman is on the lookout for a move elsewhere to re-establish himself as one of the best left-backs in the continent.

Here’s why the £30,000-a-week left-back should move away from Spurs this summer.

Rose must move elsewhere

Rose was one of the best left-backs in the division and was set to break new grounds under Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane. However, he faced a lot of knee issues after a surgery last year, that deterred his progress to a great extent. For those who remember, it is tough to forget the image of Rose and Kyle Walker bombing forward for Spurs.

Nevertheless, if Rose is to regain his surreal form, the left-back requires time and patience. He must play regularly to improve further and he might not receive that opportunity at Spurs with Davies being the first-choice left-back. Hence, the 28-year-old must move elsewhere to clock those crucial minutes.

Hence, if the French champions are looking to sign the player, he should go for it without hesitation. The Parisian club will offer him more games to prove his fitness and the intensity of the league will be slightly less-demanding than the Premier League. The change in environment should help him grow as a player and maybe come back to the English top-flight in the forthcoming years.

Conclusion

This is a deal which will appease all parties involved. PSG will receive a quality left-back to either supplement or takeover Layvin Kurzawa, while Spurs will receive some money to spend elsewhere in the market.

For Danny Rose, this is a chance he must grasp with both hands and excel. Staying back with Tottenham will only stagnate his career further and he must avoid that situation at all cost.
