Neymar

Real Madrid have been on fire in Europe in the last three seasons, winning the Champions League title 3 times consecutively, becoming the first team to do so. Though the team were not up to their best standards domestically, they certainly made up for it in Europe.

Zidane then stunned the world by resigning from his job as Los Blancos manager. Madrid have now named former Spain boss Julen Lopetegui as their new head coach for the next campaign. The coach will be aiming to make this time supreme in the La Liga, as the club are starting to fall behind Barcelona in terms of domestic success. But first, he will have to bring in reinforcements for a number of stars who may either leave the club.

One such player that has been linked with an exit from the club is Welsh wizard Gareth Bale. The winger’s future is far from certain and given his performances in the Champions League final, a number of clubs will be tracking the player.

Real Madrid have identified PSG winger Neymar as a possible replacement. The club are reportedly preparing a mega bid for the Brazilian, who only made the move to the club last summer for £200m. The Brazilian is apparently looking to make a move back to Spain and Real Madrid could be a possible destination.

Gareth Bale

He has been in stunning form this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists in 20 Ligue 1 games, before an injury left him out for a prolonged period. He has been a phenomenon in the Ligue 1.

He averaged a total of 7.1 dribbles per game in the French Ligue 1 this season. The attacker is well known for his versatility in the game, with his ability to play a wide number of roles up front. He is also brilliant at set-pieces, scoring a couple of free kicks for Les Parisiens this season.

The player is widely regarded as the third best behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and has finished third in the Ballon d’Or race twice in his career. It is only a matter of time before he takes home the accolade himself. Madrid are not the kind to dive into the transfer market every season but for Neymar, they just might go out of their way.

If Florentino Perez can complete a deal for the Samba magician, it would be a statement signing by the club, who haven’t really made a big signing in recent times. The move would send shockwaves across Barcelona and would be highly controversial but Neymar doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would be fazed by such issues.
