The now 38-year-old moved to New Jersey, United States of America, in pursuit of his dreams and better opportunities, where he met his future wife, Sohla. She was raised in the San Fernando Valley of California and later moved to New Jersey to pursue her passion for food.
The chef couple met at the Culinary Institute of America, where both had enrolled with their passion for food after completing their respective degrees. They were enrolled in the same program at the institute, and their schedule also aligned with one another.
