Tamar Estine Braxton is an American singer and television personality. She started her career in 1990 as a founding member of The Braxtons, an R&B singing group formed with her sisters. The Braxtons released their first album, “So Many Ways,” as a trio in 1996, but soon disbanded. In 2000, Tamar Braxton released her debut self-titled album under DreamWorks Records.
After a hiatus of thirteen years, Braxton made a comeback with her second studio album, “Love and War” (2013), which achieved significant success, reaching the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart. She followed up with her fourth and fifth albums, “Calling All Lovers” (2015) and “Bluebird of Happiness” (2017). Throughout her career, Braxton has received various accolades, including a BET Award and three Soul Train Music Awards, with four Grammy Award nominations.
From 2011 to 2020, Braxton appeared in the reality television series “Braxton Family Values” alongside her mother and sisters on We TV. Still relevant in her own right, Braxton has most recently found her way into the news after fans searched up whether she is pregnant or not.

The Braxton Family Values star confirmed that she was expecting her first child, during an appearance on Good Morning America in 2013. “I have a love on top! I am pregnant!” Braxton gushed to GMA host Lara Spencer, showing off her baby bump. She added, “I feel great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I’ve eaten ever.”
