Is Joe Rogan a religious person – here is everything you need to know about the UFC commentator’s faith.

Joe Rogan, a color analyst for the UFC, is atheist rather than religious. Despite being raised a Catholic, Rogan, 55, is adamantly opposed to any faith that is founded on the Bible. The sportscaster urged listeners to embrace the truth that no one actually knows where the holy writings came from in an old podcast piece that included Rogan, his former podcast producer Brian Redban, and fellow comedian Joey Diaz.

Additionally, he advised parents to avoid enrolling their children in religious institutions to avoid disrupting their early socialization: “Everybody thinks that having your kids grow up religious is not a big deal and you know it’s good for them. I agree to give the kids some morals and set some standards of behavior… But to have them go to any fing super religious school, you’re going to f**k their programming up so bad… What they should do is teach you the principles of each religion and not say either one of them is the fung answer… You look at all the good aspects of all the different religions and say where did all these come from, we don’t know.”

Does Joe Rogan practice veganism?

In The Joe Rogan Experience podcast episode #1101, documentary director Chris Bell revealed to Joe Rogan that veganism has a spiritual foundation. Chris said that the Seventh-day Adventist Church introduced vegetarianism in 1863.

Although initially merely prohibiting the intake of pork and shellfish, the faith later placed limitations on the use of all animal products; the filmmaker continued:

“Veganism started with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. They were following the Jewish kosher laws or whatever at first and it was like… no pigs or shellfish, and then the guy [religious head]… just took it to another level and said no meat, no animal product at all. And these people that were in this church were like the first real group of vegans… Like 1863 is when that moment, I guess, started.”

The practice of exclusively eating food that is not derived from animals is known as veganism. Around two million vegans live in the USA, according to a survey from Statista Global Consumer Survey on diets.
