Kate Chastain recently announced that she is pregnant. After the announcement that she is expecting her first child, Kate Chastain paid a surprise appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The 39-year-old Below Deck alumnus paid a visit to the venerable Bravo late-night program after Cohen awarded her the program’s coveted “Mazel of the Day”.
Cohen, who is a father of two himself told her, “I’m thrilled for you. You’ll make a wonderful mother, I tell you.”
Chastain added, referring to her time spent working as a yacht stewardess, “I believe being a Chief Stewardess trained me for it,” adding that the first thing she hopes to teach her child is “dishes”.
Exclusively on Tuesday, PEOPLE broke the news of Chastain’s pregnancy. Chastain who is due on May 8, 2023, said she had always dreamed of having a child of her own. The reality personality exclaimed, “I am beyond excited to become a mommy. This is a dream come true because it’s something I’ve always wished for!”
When Cohen asked Chastain if she was “doing this on your own” on his show WWHL, Chastain replied, “I’m doing it solo and probably with some help, but I’m delighted to do it alone.”
Cohen Jokingly claimed to be the father earlier in the program. He joked, “This happened to us at BravoCon.”.“The night after the Legend’s ball was a mess”.
Kate Chastain’s personal life
Since the time Kat announced her pregnancy since then her fans have been interested in learning more about Kate’s relationship and whether or not she is married.
Kate isn’t wed, to be clear. Only two months prior, in October 2022, she made her relationship status known at BravoCon.
“You guys, I’m single too”, said Kate. Her Instagram appears to show that she is single as well. She has mainly just shared photos of herself having a blast and a few of her friends.
As of the time of writing, Kate has not disclosed the father of the child.
Kate Chastain’s dating history
In the first few seasons of the show, Kate was notably linked to Chef Ben Robinson. Yet Kate disclosed that she had been dating a lady in season four.
She met Ro Hernandez, a former Madrid Spain professional football player. Kate captioned a photo of herself kissing Ro saying, “I am not gay… but my girlfriend might be”.
The couple did not stay together for very long, and the Bracolebrity disclosed in season 6 that she had moved on to a private romance. The ChiefStew however realized that she no longer wanted to be in that relationship while the season was being filmed.
