The conversation continued when another user, @WillieBowe, attempted to undermine Elle’s statement, dismissing women’s boxing as mere “exhibition ‘boxing'” and urging her to “get over [herself].”

Undeterred, Elle fired back, admonishing the troll for spreading hate and highlighting her own dedication to the sport. She made it clear that she was actively pursuing her dreams while her detractors resorted to negative online commentary. She wrote:
